EVH was a riff machine. SO many to choose from - You Really Got Me, Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love, Jump, Beautiful Girls, Panama, Loss of Control......

But when it comes to VH riffs you're hard pushed to beat the opening minute of Hot For Teacher, and that riff's by a drummer ffs...... 8)

:D Indeed. Has Atomic Punk has been mentioned? That and Girl Gone Bad are IMHO the two most brutal riffs he came up with. Also, Hear About it Later and So this is Love from Fair Warning are fab.
Why isn't there a sarcasm font?

Captain Ron

Two more worth consideration.  8)

The Knack - My Sharona
Wildhearts - Vanilla Radio

The whole of Fair Warning - Eddie has stated that he was pretty pissed off during this period and it really shows - a masterclass in rock guitar.
Anger is a gift.
