New project from Steve Wilson from PT, anyone heard much? I have heard a few tracks off the album and it sounds pretty good

The album is in the vein of the 'poppier' PT material such as the Lightbulb Sun and Stupid Dream albums. I think it's excellent, not a duff track on it. Buy, buy, buy!

yep ditto that !

Well worth investing, there's some live stuff floating around as well, a particularly nice show from the Mean Fiddler last September featuring a number of TNMSers in the background.  :o

Drop me a PM if you're interested  ;)

...and the Limited Edition for a late summer release followed by the 5.1 surround/DVD-A mix in the Autumn followed by the remastered digi-pack version a few months later followed by the re-remastered edition with extra tracks & a slip case a few months after that......

you also forgot the black vinyl, the blue vinyl and the multi-coloured recycled vinyl - which, by the way, will be the only version to contain the beautifully detailed Lasse Hoile designed lyrics booklet.... ::)

So, the format quibbles aside, is anyone looking forward to this? :-/

I only got a copy of a live show from Marianne the other week, but I like what I heard; is the first album worth a punt?

Yes, all gripes aside, looking forward to it. First album is excellent, like a more mainstream PT in fact. Up your street I'm guessing.
