They are a band for the kids but, hey, we were all 13 once and I'm sure 20 years ago the same was being said of Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer...except that we never noticed at the time

If I was 13 again, I'd be into Trivium

But loads of people are still into Maiden, Slayer, Metallica... maybe not Megadeath... and they're certainly still not 13 years old; physically that is.

But would we, as 30-somethings in the main, be into the above bands if they were starting now? We'll never know.

Bands take years to build a lasting legacy. Only with the passing of time will we see if Trivium last half as long as any of the above bands....although not likely I admit
