Just got the new album, feckin' awsome, cheese is great when done loudly ;D. That and the over use of synth, almost as bad as Power Windows (Which I also love btw ::))

Only because Prince By-Tor and myself haven't been here yet.

Dragonforce have been mentioned elsewhere. Can't think where, though. They're a magnificent live band. I saw them in Wolverhampton last September. A full-on metal show; lots of solo's, great songs and all done with big grins spread across the band members faces. A definate antidote to the angst-y 'I hate the World' stuff that a lot of other metal bands throw at you. Some of the fans need to be seen to be believed, as well. They wave plastic swords and axes etc in full 'power metal' mode.

They are a fun night out. Go and see them.

Not too sure about this lot from what I've heard on the website so far, only looked because was talking to a lad where I'm working at the moment in St Ives, and his dad is Dave Mackintosh-Dragonforce's drummer! His son is also called Dave and plays the drums (no surprise), he said they are really starting to take off now, got a US tour coming up and a lot of the UK ones earlier on the tour sold out, no surprise the Europeans love'em.

Saw them supporting Overkill at Nottingham Rock City a few years back and they were awesome! As Cygnus says, get yourself to see them you won't regret it....

Not officially confirmed yet but they have said they will be playing Download fest this year.
