About 90% of the indoor meals I cook I have used a Le Creuset shallow casserole dish. Yes it's expensive, but it lasts for years, great for frying/simmering etc, cleans easily and looks good. For me it's a desert island thing.

I have a limited edition pink version of this dish. Le Creuset are brilliant. It was limited edition because the the pink colour did not take very well when fired. Looked fine to me. So it was discounted.
A Slow Cooker and a Tefal Actifry are our most used kitchen tools.
