Black Country Communion - January dates
« on: August 01, 2017, 07:58:41 AM »
BCC have announced just 2 UK shows in January :-

Wolverhampton Civic Hall - Tuesday 2nd January
London Hammersmith ( Odeon  ;)  ) Apollo - Thursday 4th January

There is a Planet Rock Pre-Sale tomorrow ( Wednesday ) at 9am - then on general sale from Friday. No idea on prices ( hopefully they won't hit the stupid heights of the recent Bonamassa shows that were announced ) but either way am sure both dates will sell out quickly. Am certainly looking to go - price pending.........

New album due September 22nd BCC IV

Do you think so?  I saw BCC the first time around at Newcastle Academy and they only sold tickets for downstairs - and that wasn't sold out, despite having Michael Schenker as support....weird, as its a venue Bonamassa had previously sold out.

On the subject of Bonamassa pricing - he has pretty much sold out Gateshead Sage, despite tickets being over £100.  :o   Saw him front row centre there in 2009 for £25...

Depending on pricing I am sure both dates will sell out quite quickly - they are supposed to be the only European dates.

Ridiculous pricing.  Wouldn't pay that even if they were playing Newcastle.  I remember baulking over the £45ish they charged last time I saw them...but at least you got Schenker into the bargain..

£85 standing and £101 Circle - before fees and secure ticket delivery - won't bother...

Just had a look on Amazon at the cost of picking up the CD - £17.08  :o

I'm sure this will come down closer to release date, but that's fecking ridiculous

I'll be skipping that oo - I bought all 3 of their records so far and I could hum 2 songs (the first 2 songs from their debut).

Actually, that could be a thread - the phenomenon of buying a record in this day and age and never really getting to know it as intimately as the records you listened to as a kid....I buy records these days, listen to them for a fortnight and very rarely listen to them again....bar a very few...

Blimey - who pays that for a CD!!????? - I think these guys or their management are currently suffering from a chronic case of dilutions of grandeur...... :-\

Saw these tickets go on sale whilst on holiday, and wondered if you and Bez might be up for it - but at those prices... nah!!

£50 standing would have been about right, maybe a touch on the expensive side...
