One more game and invincibility awaits. Two more games and immortality awaits.

What a time to be alive.

That's invincibility in the bag at least.

Streets ahead of anyone else this year. Really good side and more prepared for European football than in recent years .

Well done, you can only beat what's in front of you I suppose, which isn't a lot up there 😉.

Difficult without real resources as found in the obscene premiership finances handed to them .

Still managed two draws against the third "best" team in England so the standard up here can't be all bad.

Scott Sinclair springs to mind mate. Feared goalscorer up there, a nobody down here.

Never quite understand these pointless comparisons, between the SPFL & the English Premier League? England, as a country is 10 times the size in terms of population, and for winning the SPFL, Celtic received £2.5m approx. Chelsea receive 50 times that amount!!!

So, clearly the comparison is pointless, irrelevant & stupid, and one wonders why, the larger country feels the need to do so? Is it perhaps, despite all the money, and the oft stated "best league in the world" that they know, it is most definitely not the best league, either in terms of quality, young player production or indeed the success of the English national team?

Is there a lingering sense of self doubt, that the EPL and all it's success as a brand, has been built upon foreign players, foreign owners, and TV money?

As for Scott Sinclair, he was a tremendous success at Swansea, which earned him a big money move to Man City, where like many British players, he wasn't given a chance at a club, which has spent half a billion pounds in players, since the Qatari Royal Family moved in. In the deluded, insane world of the EPL, apparently that counts as failure. Not in my world it isn't

Absolutely correct, GMan.

In terms of population Scotland is comparable with Yorkshire.  And there's no Yorkshire teams in the Prem-  oh... ;)

Congratulations to Huddersfield, mind you it took a crazy, unknown German to get them there Matt?

GMan, You've got to expect comparisons to be made when a lot of you Scots are always keen to tell us down here that Celtic would comfortably finish in the top 6 down here (which we'll never know about hopefully). Nothing personal mate 😉.

Rob, I know it's nothing personal and you're a genuine football fan. To be honest, there's been a lot of dialogue and comment on Talksport amongst others, prompting this debate, mainly for clickbait traffic, it has to be said?

The truth is, I have no idea how Celtic or any other Scottish club would fare in English football. It'll never happen anyway, but I'd just like to see a bit of a fairer split of all the revenue generated throughout Europe, and indeed in Scotland for starters.

Your team are a shining example of how to run a club, it's a pity there isn't more like them.

All the best
