This has to be the end. The board has to announce how and when the Wenger era is going to end. The announcement needs to be before the next game

Hard to see a top 4 finish at the moment.......probably less likely than a Spuds double

Yes that's a shame. But I'll take it once every 20 years!

Barnay Ronay is brilliant!

Et tu Barnay? ;-)

That's quite a cruel, almost Shakespearean put down, however well written and accurate. Ronay very self consciously playing the part of court jester to Arsene's Lear, to the gallery.

Ultimately you have blame the board for allowing Wenger to do this to himself and the club; whether they continue to indulge him out of a sense of loyalty, gratitude, sympathy or through a misguided belief in his abilities and leadership is irrelevant, the fact is their poor judgement is hurting Arsenal and undermining Arsene's achievements and legacy. There are some great players at Arsenal and who could blame them for taking a long hard look at whats being allowed to go on (for far too long) and wanting to protect their own future prospects?

It would be a cruel irony if, having eclipsed their North London rivals for two decades, Spurs and Pochineto should win a Premier League title while Wenger presides over an Arsenal decline.

The Spuds do seem very much like a club in the ascendency these days, top manager and a deep squad of good players.... easy on the eye too

2nd year in a row they've choked when in touching distance of the title....I take absolutely no pleasure in that

Providing we don't faint at the Saints, choke at Stoke, lose a spat with the Black Cats or get unstuck by the Toffees there could be a chance of 4th place.... assuming the Scousers get Hammered

Only to have it taken away by United winning the Europa League and stealing 4th spot.... ? Not sure what would be worse....

pretty sure the 4th place team will still qualify for Champions League even if United win the Europa league

Not according to the rules...the winners of the Europa League go straight into the Champions League and we're only allowed a max of 4 teams...

England will have 5 places in Champions League if United finish outside the top 4 and win the Europa league
