Christmas Dinner

It's getting near and soon the fat man will be emptying his sizeable sack. So, what are you having for your Christmas lunch/dinner?

The Silversky household will be having;

Roast Turkey
Roast Potatoes
Roast Parsnips & Carrots
Brussell Sprouts with panchetta and chestnuts
Braised red cabbage
Sage & Onion sausagemeat rolled in bacon
Ham, cranberry and walnut stuffing
Cranberry sauce
Gravy

Other than the cranberry sauce it will me made by my own fair hands. I will not have to eat for a week.

Probably similar to the above, but with a Greek-Cypriot twist, courtesy of the MiL. :)

Turkey crown again, because everyone else insists on "traditional". I'd prefer roast leg of lamb.

Probably a Fray Bentos pie.

Funnily enough the first Xmas dinner I remember was a pie of the Fray Bentos ilk, followed by Lemon Curd tarts and custard. It's all my dad could rustle up while my sister was being born.
