Well normally you just fold a crust around it, so you cannot see it looks like dog sick. ;)

Seriously, the slight sweet of the pancake combines nicely with game.

Ahhhh do you add sugar to the mix then when making savory pancakes? We tend not to add sugar to the mix and add it at the end bit.

I know of receipes with or without sugar. But normally it is slightly sweetened, yes.

Just made a batch and had them hot with ice cream, strawberrys and maple syrup. Magic.

Had a late tea, so haven't bothered with any. Kids had them though.

Bought a mix which you add milk to. Couldn't even manage that properly. Am giving up any attempt at cooking for good!

Wendy bought some that were already made, and you just had to warm them in the microwave. When she asked me why I hadn't had any, I said it was because she hadn't made them for me! I've always had my pancakes made for me, and at a few months off 47 years of age, I'm not starting to do them myself now.

I made some for school assembly (House 'tosser' comp - no we don't call it that on front of the kids...)
then made some for me - had invited a friend over but she couldn't make it in the end. 2 savoury and 2 sweet.
It really isn't difficult, but honestly Zoony - you sound like a spoilt kid- you could quite easliy learn to make some and then cook some for your wife.
47 is not too old to start learning!  ::) :-*

And you could have eaten her ready made just to be kind!!!!!!
Cut to the chase

Piece of piss pancake recipe and preparation - they have to be one of the easiest things to cook. I'm sure oven Rob could have a go at this.
Spinach and Ricotta cheese is a favoured filling by some in this house.
