QuoteThe Leftovers is a beautiful TV show. It's up there as one of my all time favourites. The music by Max Richter is fantastic too and suits the feel of the show very well.

Ah. It was your recommendation!  Thank you!
Anger is a gift.

Don't Breathe 2
Better looking than your average Tory Cabinet Minister

Started Foundation tonight. Great first episode, but reviews say it takes a turn for the worse. Hopefully not.

Ep 1 of Dopesick.
Depressing but excellent
"Who would have thought that the ending of freedom of movement of goods and people would lead to shortages in goods and people"

Head scratcher!

I really enjoyed Foundation, delighted that we are getting a 2nd Season.

Anyhow, I tested positive for Co-Vid last Wednesday (a head cold is as bad as its been so far) which has meant me watching an awful lost of TV/Films as i'm stuck in the house.

Vigil - 5/10
Showtrial 8/10
Alice In Borderland - 7/10
True Detective S4 - 8/10
Narcos: Mexico S3 - 8/10
Hellbound - 5/10

Been watching a fair few old films as well, last night was Rollerball (James Caan version), Planet of the Apes (C.Heston), Where Eagles Dare, The Fog, Prince of Darkness, Inglourious Basterds, Forbidden Planet and a new one in Nobody on Amazon which was supposeably in 4K but the picture quality was very poor (not a great film either).

True Detective S4. Are you sure as I thought I may have missed a season, but on imdb there are 3 series? I had higher hopes for Hellbound. Oh well only 6 episodes.

Jack Ryan Series 2. Preferred series 1. In this 2nd season, Jack suddenly turned into some special ops James Bond Legend killing anything that moved.
The new songs are an abomination

Season 3 for True Detective, you are correct......Fargo Season 4 later this week for me !!

Beckett (Netflix movie) last night.....so so - 6/10.

Started on True Story (Netflix), decent enough start !!

I didn't bother recording that one as I'm sure I've seen it before. I remember hearing that Midge learned the guitar parts listening to a Walkman on the transatlantic flight over to join the US tour - amazing! I wonder if they compensated by Scott utilising effects?

Get Back - The Beatles documentary, 3 hours in and loads more to go. Fascinating.
Everybody's got to evalate from the norm.

Savouring Foundation as we are limiting ourselves to one a night. I'm really liking it (up to episode 7 so far). Looks great in HDR on our new 4K telly too.
