Held the first 'Classic Vinyl Evening' in the back room of the local pub tonight. A select audience of music fans were treated to Rumours and Ziggy Stardust played on classic British audio equipment. Excellent evening listening to some great music.

Rega Planar 3 TT (RB300 arm/ Ortofon 2M Blue MM cart), Audiolab 8000a integrated amp (2 x 60W), Rega RS1 standmounts and a Mordaunt Short Subwoofer.
All sourced from eBay (except stands) for around £700. Very pleased with the way it sounds - had plenty of compliments.  :)

Seeing everyone at Eucon last night.  :)

Meeting Terry Brown.  :D

Actually not feeling too bad despite having about 5 hours sleep and having to do my Sunday morning "shift" with the little un.

Buckets of coffee.

A walk up Glastonbury tor,  great weather amazing views, followed by a perusal of the alternative shops in the town high street. Crystals, scent burners, finger cymbals, Wiccan books of spells, pictures of boxing hares and stags as well as a few green man wall ornaments. All washed down with organic coffee and a slice of organic carrot cake.
Everybody's got to evalate from the norm.

Went out to buy my Daily Heil this morning and on the way there and back I was despairing at today's ignorant and lazy society, with all the litter at the side of the roads, bags of dogshit hanging in bushes and the amount of people who drive with just one hand on top of the steering wheel.
But then, a genuine Steam Roller came down the road. Absolbloodylutely Marvellous. Cheered me up no end, can't beat a good piece of old engineering together with the smell of coal smoke and hot steam :)

Watching the slow but sure implosion of a Tory Government.  Only worry is the nutters in the background who may take over should May leave. Rees Mogg, Johnson, Gove - take your pick !
