Myself and 4 of the Scottish lads had a cracking all you can eat freshly prepared Chinese buffet while in Crewe for EUCON last weekend. Quality and quantity for £15-90 a head.

Currently at work on nights. Just had a piece of cod loin with some sweet potato wedges and a vegetable masala. Very nice 😊.

Went out for lunch at a lovely country pub today. Had the smoked haddock scotch egg to start, sirloin steak with hand cut chips main, and apple crumble with custard and clotted cream for dessert. It was spot on 😊.

Wonderful roast chicken lunch. Spuds, carrots, leeks, parsnips, sprouts, peas, yorkshires and sage and onion stuffing accompanied by perfect gravy. Practice run for Xmas day.
Another 11/10 from Mrs L (and bubble & squeak tomorrow night as a bonus!)

A catch up with some mates at Delhi Dave's last night. Poppadoms and sundries followed by chicken bhuna, fried rice, cauliflower bhaji, and some of their legendary wrinkle cut chips.

Home made American style pancakes  (Paul Hollywood recipe) this morning, with maple syrup. Mmm...
Standing in the shadows, hiding from the light
Reach out in the darkness, and hold on for your life
All the fear of the future, all the emptiness inside
When the moment of truth arrives, hey, you can run but you can't hide
