Reed was about 45s pre-tournament; colleague at work had him, tenner each-way.

Very nice

I put a fiver each way on Fowler for the Masters.

As well as the winnings it entitled me to a 5e free football bet. I've put it on City beating 'Pool 3 - 0 and taking the game to extra time . Only 9/1 though

Indie Lass picked five out for the National, including the winner Tiger Roll on the nose at 14/1, so made a 200% profit.

Which is a lot more than I’ve made this year (think I’m a bit behind tbh) and she otherwise never bets - and I think my two National horses are still running; clearly, a salutary lesson for all.

So with that in mind, here’s my picks for this week’s Trophee Hassan in Morocco: :D

Dunne win 12/1
Elvira top 20 11/4
(Chris) Hanson top 20 11/2

Young Aussie golfer Lucas Herbert is one to watch, and in last week's Sicilian Open I took him at an eye-catching 15/2 for a top 20 finish - and he finished tied 3rd.  Cheers Unibet!! :)

Stuck with Lucas Herbert for this week's "Belgian Knockout" tournament (a mix of strokeplay and matchplay):

36 hole leader 6 places e/w 40/1;

Outright winner 8 places e/w 40/1.

Delighted to report my biggest win this year so far:

My only bet this week Mikko Korhonen won the Shot Clock Austrian Masters for me at 28/1; had £3.00 each way which returned £106.80; that’ll help pay a bill or two. :)

Hopefully I can carry this forward to next week’s US Open, assuming I have a dabble on it. ;)

Jacob Thorbjorn Olesen, as it says on his passport. ;)

But he goes by his middle name which apparently translates as "Thunderbear"; whatever Jacob translates to, it won't be as good as that.  :)
