My mash has got to be 50/50 potato and Swede mate. Not a fan of just potato on its own.

:)

Tonight, one of my faves: calamari....mmmmm!  :D

My missus produced a superb chicken and mushroom pie (puff pastry) using the leftovers from yesterday's roast. Served up with petit-pois, long stem broccoli and carrot/swede mash.

Cracking 3 course lunch at a pub in Bewdley. Chicken liver pate, rib eye steak and fresh fruit cocktail.

Autumnal  squid, chorizo and cauliflower risotto, really good. Plus wine always goes into a risotto so a few sips as I stirred the rice.

Everybody's got to evalate from the norm.

Curried chicken toasted sandwich for lunch; lamb streak with cream, mushroom and pepper sauce with roast king Edward spuds and steamed asaparagus for dinner tonight - all lovingly made by my good lady as we follow the ‘man bring meet/woman cook meat’ philosophy in our house.

God, she’s a brilliant cook.
Anger is a gift.
