Reg, you could do a lot worse than making it a Tiv hat trick and seeing

Mostly Autumn next Saturday....you'd thank me afterwards, without a doubt 😉

Hi Ali. I saw Mostly Autumn back in the 90's but they didn't really float my boat. If I remember correctly, I actually went to see the support band "The Quest".

Also - if you like rock 'classic' I think you would appreciate Inglorious. Front man Nathan James has a hell of a voice for rock.

This is from the current album (their 4th), We Will Ride:

Hi Reg, I see Inglorious have moved their Liverpool show to the Chester Live Rooms - so I may catch that or the Tiv show 👍

As regards MA, there has been a significant shift in sound since you saw them. The folky prog beginnings have in the main been replaced by a much more classic rock/symphonic rock (a la Nightwish) approach.

And in their female co-lead vocalist, Olivia Sparnenn-Josh, they have the best live singer I've ever had the pleasure to witness 👌

I've checked some of Mostly Autumn's more recent material and I still can't say they are ringing any bells.

I am however, mightily tempted by Vandenberg on Nov 28th at the Tiv. Just discovered that the singer is currently Ronnie Romero. Will pick a ticket up when I go to see Inglorious. Save on booking fees innit.

Talking to the management at the Tiv when I saw Inglorious, there is some doubt that the Vandenberg gig will go ahead (something about Covid and international travel), so I haven't bagged a ticket as yet.

p.s. Inglorious were again, superb entertainment.
